MM - you must be working overtime for Handgun Control Inc. or Dell or both.

That is Handgun Control, Inc's web site there is no way you could legally put it up unless you hadthe password etc.

I would think Dell would have them take the link down if they refused to support them.

Handgon Control, Inc. Shopping Mall

Connections to commercial websites must be made immediately from this links page for Handgun control, Inc. to receive it'share!

This tell me that Dell has given their permission to be linked by Handgun Control, Inc.

You're delusional, Chainsaw. Why don't you read over a few hundred of my posts here if you think that's the case.

You're talking about something here that you don't have the faintest understanding of. Signing up to be a Dell affiliate takes about 10 minutes if you're already a Linkshare member or a couple of days if you're not. If you don't believe me, go try it. I've set up maybe a hundred affiliate accounts in the past. How many have you set up? Inferring that a company supports some organization because their affiliate link is on a site demonstrates a total absence of understanding as to how the online affiliate business works. As I said on the other thread, I bet you I could be set up as a Dell affiliate for AHCI (Anti Handgun Control Institute) in no time at all, as well as for a jillion other online companies. Don't spout off about things of which you're ignorant.

No, it's not HCI's website. Look at the url. I've done a bit of research on this. There are three different, but associated websites where Dells company name appears. It's not only HCI that gets any cut from the purchase of a Dell. Follow this link to read the terms of these sites. Read all the terms carefully, particularly #4. Follow the links that are mentioned in #4, and see who else gets a cut. Pay close attention to how these three websites are described in #4. If anything, Dell is just covering all the bases by being involved in this program. This whole issue will become alot clearer once you've read these terms.
