Just heard a news break from Rick Sanchez saying the Bush administration is going to hold the Clinton administration responsible for pressing peace talks in a volatile situation that they knew would result in more violence against Israel beginning in 2000....more to follow during briefing. But apparently Ari is going to have something big to say on this and where the U.S. is going to go with the situation in Israel and the war on terrorism.

Partly because Christians and Christian evangelism isassociated with Republicans. Arafat lovers are preferable to those who try to convert others. I suppose their are other reasons too How about because they tend to be social activists and believe in change in this life, not in some afterlife. There tends to be more focus on this lifetime, not some after life.

But at the same time if they dig it up,won't they have to admit, there is some basis for Ari's statements?

Well, I didn't need MSNBC to point it out to me. I read the thread beforehand, then waited for what was "suppossed" to happen. Probably what did happen was that the networks expected the typical partisan bashing that went on during the x42 administration (notice how they didn't mind it then) and when they didn't like Ari's answers (which, I must admit, were a little disappointing) they made sure the whole world knew it 4 seconds afterwards. The truth is, he wouldn't answer the questions he raised himself, and the media went after him like sharks. Of course, they would have went after him like sharks even if he had criticized the previous non-administration, so it's a lose-lose situation.

Ari is using PRESS REPORTS from 2000 that the violence started on 9/29/00 after the Camp David meetings failed...he's using the PRESS REPORTS at the time to make the point that CLINTON'S FAILURE LED TO TODAY'S VIOLENCE. I wish they'd put a finer point on this. Blaming Clinton's failure to secure a better relationship between Israel and its neighbors won't look all that damning. They should call it what it was: Clinton's MEDDLING in that region's politics in hopes of ending his term with something other than "Received oral sex at the office" on his resume.

*GRINS* A fuzzy little cat, eh? ;-)

After watching this and all of the hype for the 90 minutes before hand I saw firsthand that the Bush Administration is afraid of the press yet knows what buttons to push to make their agenda clear.
Ari is smart, but I am tired of kissing ass here. Let's get it on and out in the open about the truth.

Helen just compared our fight against terrorism to the Viet Nam policy. Whatta shill... Helen Thomas is Arab(Lebanese)-American, and thus pro-Arab and anti-Israeli. I advise running every word she utters through that filter.

I have one grandson and 5 granddaughters. Shopping for Easter bonnets and white purses/gloves was sooo much fun for the little girls. Not all that much for the little boys.

"WHY is the "Jewish vote" so overwhelmingly for LEFTIST DEMOCRATS?
Partly because Christians and Christian evangelism isassociated with Republicans"Oh, horsepucky!
NY Jews vote Dimocrat because their fathers and their fathers' fathers did, and because the Dims are the party of big government, and they've done this since long before anyone ever heard of "the religious right".

How could they not know? Come on, this is the Clintonoids we're talking about. Common sense does not apply. You need DNA evidence for these people.

Ari holds a meeting with the press gaggle every morning. No cameras, just notes and recorders. And the press asks him questions and gets answers, it is more for the print press. And the press can get a feel for his answers, as well as Ari getting a feel for what they are going to ask in the press briefing later in the day.

Well, I'm a little behind on reading the posts, I watched and even taped the session. Don't know about other's yet but poor Ari really did nothing I could see that could harm Clinton or Daschle very much.
I came away thinking that Ari went out of he way (even though he does what he is told) not to attack either one. When the hell is Bush going to stick up for himself. I'm sorry, I've still yet to see anyone in the Bush administration take any gloves off and fight back.
I'll get around to reading all of the posts this evening. Are there other's here that feel like I do, a little let down?
