That Jerrold Nadler weighs 178 pounds?

That it's not murder, it's a choice.
40 million dead babies ...... that's what American liberals have killed.
To: Burkeman1
That the state can somehow provide for The People better than The People can.

So many lies, so little time...
My personal choice: The theft of the word "progressive".
By this linguistic larceny, all "progress" moves in a leftward direction. The common acceptance of this formula has ceded control to the socialists of the entire idea of human progress. "Right" is backward, and "Left" is forward. It's long past time for Conservatives to challenge this act of intellectual thievery by reasserting the idea of Freedom as progress. It's more important than you may think. Yep, this one gets my vote as well. As if stealing from one group and using it to bribe and enslave the stupider group is somehow new and enlightened.
This lie is so closely allied to the lie that the left is still the underdog and/or the little guy.

There's just too many to count. I cannot fathom reducing the endless list to just one or even a handful of lies.
Nevertheless, a few of my favorites:
The Bush Recession
The Reagan deficit
Lockbox
Tax cuts for the "right" people and "...we know who the right people are." (as spoken by AlGore who apparently was an advocate of tax cuts while running for president. Come to think of it, so was Clinton which ammounts to another lie).
Police action
White males are racist by nature
hate crime
If it saves one life...
The government needs to .....
and so on...

"Republicans want to pollute the air we breathe and the water we drink." (as if republicans have somehow figured out a way to have their own independent supply of air and water, separate from that which is consumed by democrats. Either that, or Republicans must have a death wish to want to drink arsenic ladened water and carcinogenic laced air)

I agree with all the choices listed here. My choice would be: "They all do it." This was a catchall phrase, aimed at getting Clinton off the hook for his moral lapses. The sheep loved it. If I had a dollar for every time I heard this little whopper during impeachment, I'd be a rich lady. I heard it from friends, members of my family, and wannabe cracker-barrel philosophers in just about every neighborhood store I visited. The phrase was always delivered with a little self-satisfied smile and a dismissive wave of the hand. No sir, those rascally Republican moralists weren't going to put anything over on
them! They probably thought that saying the magic phrase made them sound knowing, hip and worldly-wise. Heck, they probably even thought they came up with it. No matter what Clinton scandal you brought up, the sheep had their answer: "They all do it." It was infuriating. Still is.
Adultery? "They all do it."
Campaign finance improprieties? "They all do it."
Crooked deals? "They all do it."
Abuse of power? "They all do it."
But isn't it funny, though, how "they" don't "all do it" whenever a Republican is accused of doing something wrong?

"Truth is relative."

Would anyone here happen to have Horowitz's analysis of why this is true? I read it somewhere on here and wish I could find out at least which book or article it came from. If you know and can post it, my thanks in advance.Horowitz article
This might be what you're looking for. It's great in any event.

Al Gore won the Popular Vote.

I don't agree with your commie assesment but I'll save my reply for another time. Right now, I can't stand the following:
"Clinton was a good president".
"Bush is stupid".
A liberal caught doing something illegal says, "The republicans did it first".
And finally, "Clinton was a good president".

I am a "political junkie" and I don't care which DemocRAT is speaking - on TV, radio, newspaper, etc., I can point out outrageous, blatant lies. Me, too. I think it's more a question of ignorance and demographics. It is ignorance because Liberal voters are mostly comprised of people without a panoramic vision, because, as a class,(as in: class-action suit) they know little or nothing about science, math, astronomy, or religion. However, they are very good with words, thereby leaving themselves open to seduction by them.
It is demographics as far as it is women who make up the deciding block of Democrats.

...our government was indeed infested with Communists loyal to Stalin. Turning your other cheek I'll suggest that your charge is not supported by the facts. Russian was an ally during the War.
Liberals talk as if McCarthy was the American equal of Stalin- a disgusting comparison and an immoral one.
No, Joe McCarthy was more like Torquemada, but I don't remember ever comparing him to Stalin. Hitler, maybe.
All the liberal "heroes" of that era have been exposed as spies
None of my liberal heroes were spies...or at least not against us. Try this on for size...Harry Truman and Ronald Reagan were the two most successful Presidents during the cold-war...partly due to their great respect for General George C. Marshall.
