What is the biggest lie of "liberals" in this country ever? What idea, concept, "fact", law, or position is their biggest lie in your mind? What "liberal" lie or cliche really gets your blood boiling whenever you hear it or see it expressed?

"This is just about sex" No,they were right about that one. Yes,there was treason,extortion, and all kinds of other actual crimes comitted,but to a LARGE contigent of FR posters,it WAS "all about sex". None of the rest of it really mattered to them.

The biggest "liberal" lie is the assertion that these lousy socialists are liberals. A true liberal loves personal liberty. He believes that a sound government and a sound economy results when personal freedom is respected. The average FReeper is thus a liberal. The socialists who these days call themselves liberal are anything but liberal. They abhore personal liberty. They believe that only subservience to the State leads to prosperity. They believe that a sound government needn't have one iota of respect for the individual. To them, the individual and his freedoms are of no consequence; in fact, they are seen as a threat to the "greater good". However, to the true liberal, "The needs of the one outweigh the needs of the many."
