Well, I'm somewhere in the middle on this.

My Daddy once told me: If you're in the middle (of the road) you're either one of two things: yellow striped or road-kill.

It's rediculous to compare the actions of one crazy woman with an organized conspiracy to kill as many people as possible. Another difference - Yates' minister was not calling for her to kill, Atta's mullah (like thousands of others) was.

If your friends are so darned upset, they should DO SOMETHING to reclaim their religion.

2. hundreds of thousands in al-Quaida, the taliban, palestinian suicide bombers, and muslims savages in Nigeria, Sudan, Indonesia, and the Phillipines.

Please cite some exhortations to war from the Bible.

I am not a Biblical scholar but there are stories in the Old Testament which view Jewish warriors approvingly.

The stories of Joshua and the Ark of the Covenant come to mind.

And no, I'm not going to get into a Socratic debate with antbody on Biblical content.

There's lots of blood and thunder in the Old Testament.

Actually the leaders of Islam are not in a violent phase of their imagined destiny to dominate completely the world. They are in the populating the world phase, the untimely assaults of the likes of the maverick Bin Laden excepted. When they have the population and the weapons of mass destruction firmly in hand then the leaders of Islam will take the violent path.

Islam condemns abortion but here in the Detroit area Moslim doctors will abort non-Moslim babies without blinking an eye. The won't perform abortions on their own people because it's against their religion.

I would simply like to see some of these "moderates" move from top dead center on this issue.

There are two things which continue to make me believe something is afoot.

The first ... those calendars, whispers and rumors of an attack in New York printed a year or more before the event indicates there was relatively wide spread knowledge, and no one said a damn thing. The second, even the Americans of Japanese descent wanted to help their nation ... forming the "nisei" units which performed bravely on the battlefields of Europe. There are no modern urges by Muslims to assist their adopted homelands in the West.

There is a simple test. The Islamic leaders should take a front line position hunting down these Muslim terrorist criminals made up of citizens from their societies. The fact that they are not is loud and clear.
