This bill needs killing because it denies free speech to you and your representatives (interest groups) before an election (the most important time) to tell the voters about how congressman really vote.
My Congessman, as an example goes around here saying that he supports the second amendment. Then he votes just like Schumer and company. If the NRA did not spread that word, he would get away completely with that BS. That is why my congresscritter voted for CFR.
We have to kill it however we can. A philibuster in the senate, a veto or the Supreme Court. We should be working on all three.
The other point is that this had nothing to do with Enron. They were just your usual bunch of book cooking crooks who got caught too late. They did not pay for the right to steal. It is an illogical step to use Enron as an excuse. If you want to stop corruption in government, have the government do less. Let us enforce the limits in the tenth amendment so that government will be out of our hair and our pockets except for the truly needed functions. (Those listed in Article 1, Section 8).
