Is that not the way kosher meat is prepared? So that the animal becomes weak through loss of blood, then dies, better than being bludgeoned to death, n'est ce pas? Stress hormones, etc. do not enter the meat in kosher preparation. What may seem barbaric may be actually a kinder, gentler cut than our bayonet driven through the gut to eviscerate as the Japanese did, too.

Perhaps a quick slit with a sharp blade would be better, but it seems that they enjoy using dull blades so as to prolong the time and pain.

It's a good thing I'm not a soldier down in Gitmo right now, because I would go off on a shooting spree and take out as many of those wastrals eating our food, sleeping on cots we taxpayers are forking out to keep their worthless scum alive and laugh at us foolish Americans.

The greater the loss of blood, the greater the pain, from what I've learned from pathologists, physicians, and police investigating various accidents.
