You may be right about quick bloodletting, although the kosher method is slow. OTOH, if the arteries that feed the brain are severed at the neck, probably consciousness goes quickly . Is it any more horrific than the guillotine of British and French history or the swords, machetes, etc. used for the same purpose.the world over?
