I remember they clearly linked that his treatment would be the same as the POWs in Cuba unless we met their demands (ransoms)!

You are correct. No need to stoop to their level. The prisoners at Camp x-ray should simply be euthanized. Dead is dead. Cutting their heads off won't make them any deader.
