I'm used to no other side. My first intuition was Bush held back. I never thought anyone would make a case against the Clintons and figured he felt the same.

Of course it's about Judicial Watch. Isn't Judicial Watch the ONLY entity that reports about Judicial Watch and what Larry Klayman thinks about the law?

Look at this article again. It's ALL one-sided.

Now go find this on the national news wires.

Perhaps NewsMax should do a little DIGGING and come up with the rest of the story, rather than reword articles from other sources.

APPEALS COURT HEARING IN DC: BUSH JUSTICE DEPARTMENT GIVES HILLARY CLINTON FREE LEGAL SERVICES IN PRIVATE LAWSUIT

TAXPAYERS FORCED TO PAY FOR DEFENSE OF LAWSUIT OVER ILLEGAL WHITE HOUSE OFFICE “BIG BROTHER” DATABASE

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest law firm that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, was in court yesterday raising questions about why the Bush Justice Department is providing free legal representation to Hillary Clinton in a lawsuit concerning her conspiracy with the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to misuse White House computer resources to create the White House Office Database, named “WHoDb.” Hillary Clinton and the DNC are being sued by White House whistleblower Sheryl Hall for conspiracy. Ms. Hall, who is represented by Judicial Watch, was forced out of her career staff position at the Clinton-Gore White House after she complained that the White House Office Database (a.k.a. the Big Brother database), which tracked Democratic party donors, was in violation of the Hatch Act and other federal laws which prohibit government resources being used for political fundraising. The case is on appeal and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit heard oral argument on the matter yesterday.

Over the objections of Ms. Hall and Judicial Watch, the Bush Justice Department represents Hillary Clinton in this lawsuit free of charge, saying that it is in its “discretion” to represent private parties. Interestingly, both the Clinton and Bush Justice Department have not represented Hillary Clinton in Judicial Watch’s FBI files “Filegate” lawsuit, in which she is also being sued personally.

(Sheryl Hall also exposed the E-mailgate scandal, which saw millions of Clinton-Gore White House e-mails withheld from investigators. In order to keep the e-mail secret, Clinton-Gore officials threatened White House computer contractors with jail and job loss.)

“During the Appeals Court hearing yesterday, I had to shake my head in wonderment at the sight of the Bush Justice Department working hand in hand with the DNC to defend the Hillary Clinton-led conspiracy to use the White House computer systems for illegal fundraising and to destroy heroic government employees such as Sheryl Hall who got in their way. Rather than improperly giving Hillary Clinton free legal representation in this private lawsuit, the Bush Justice Department ought to be prosecuting her for this illegal database and retaliation,” stated Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman.

This is an appeal court hearing. I don't know what it was about but apparently Judicial Watch and Larry Klayman lost in a lower court or their lawsuit was dismissed. I'm not sure what the DOJ is defending here as it isn't described in the press release.

This just can't be true. After all, I watched Mr Ashcroft speak the following words at his confirmation hearing.

"I pledge to you that if I'm confirmed as attorney general, the Justice Department will meet its special charge. Injustice against individuals will not stand, no ifs, ands or buts, period......."

"If I become United States attorney general, I, again, commit to enforcing the law, all of the law for all of the people........."

"If I am fortunate enough to be confirmed by the United States Senate and to become the next United States attorney general, I pledge to you that strict enforcement of the rule of law will be the cornerstone of justice."

"As a man of faith, I take my word and my integrity seriously. So when I swear to uphold the law, I will keep my oath, so help me God."

".......I think it's time for the Justice Department to be seen as an instrument of American justice for all the people, not necessarily just for the defense of the administration or the defense of the executive branch of government."

We've an ambiguous & fact-deficient article regarding the Justice Dept. defending Hillary.

I'm glad you're at least keepin' the faith, Howlin, instead of expecting every damn regulation, law, & tax to be revised or overturned in President George W. Bush's first year in office.

Well, everybody that expected Klayman to give both sides, raise your hands.

This isn't a story. It's an inuendo empty of facts that reads like a piece out of a leftist London tabloid...with one purpose, $$$$$. Hate and divisiveness is just one of those unfortunate side effects of dirty business. Divided we most certainly will fall.

When the Republican Party leadership called Pat Buchanan the next Hitler on the talking head shows in 1996 after he won the New Hampshire primary, I wrote them off. I'd heard enough character assasination of the Republicans at the hands of the left to maintain my loyalty to a party that would adopt the same tactics. More than any other single act, it revealed to me that the Republican Party had ceased to be legitimate, or at least let their values speak for them. Evidently they didn't have confidence in their values. Any longer. And if they didn't, why should I?

I voted for Pat in 2000. At the present time I see nobody on the radar screen that I'd vote for in 2004.

I don't believe in transfering our manufacturing overseas. I don't believe in illegal immigration and the plan to legalize them. I don't believe in a $300 billion dollar healthcare plan. I don't believe in increasing the DOE budget by $40 billion. I don't believe in the Patriot Act. I can't for the life of me think of an instance where the present Justice Department should take a position that might benefit Hillary Clinton.

Well, I see this as classic Bush if it is true. Before everyone goes and gets all mad, perhaps look back to how Bush has gotten such popularity and support with measly attacks by Demonazies. He takes away their ammo, and like a dentist removes a few teeth. All this does is make it that much harder for anyone to attack him politically when he has these small things to bring up to the contrary that he can use to counteract attacks. The evidence in this case will still be put into record and all, and if anyone wishes they could attain it. If they backed prosecuting Hillary, the whitehouse would come under fire lickity split. This is just a way to proceed with it, get the evidence out, and look like the "good guy" to the demonazies at the same time. Dont know, this is my theory. Tell me what you think.

Yea, but lots of hotheads and airheads around here are sure pi**ed, which is exactly the effect Larry Klayman hoped to pry out of the gullible.

Isn't it odd that there's not one news story about this from any other source, anywhere?
