Democratic leaders have been struggling without success to develop strategic campaign issues that can energize their party's political base and cut into Republican strength in the elections this year.
And that is causing Democratic campaign strategists to complain about their party leadership's lack of a clear, coherent message in the midst of critical midterm elections that could end up putting Republicans in full control of Congress.

Are you kidding me?
About supporting Kyoto? No, I'm not kidding you. Enron was a major backer of Kyoto, both with funds as well as lobbying efforts. The Kyoto Protocol would have almost banned coal (Enron's chief competition to their natural gas operations) as well as created a new market for trading pollution credits (which Enron wanted to seize with its Trading Unit).
You'll find out, after the dust settles, that it was Clinton who called Ken Lay to get help breaking a logjam related to Kyoto (and Lay delivered).
I thought that you knew all of this already, however.
Don't worry, most Democrats in Congress don't know all of this, either...
But they will soon enough!
This an old article, (Voter Fraud! It Doesnt Get Any More Blatant Than This!), but true enough, and we will never defeat the DemocRATS until we address vote fraud. Aside from Florida, and aside from the blatant national and international DemocRAT effort to keep military men and women from voting, much less to count the ballots of the ones who did, consider the rest of the election: 100% voting in some districts in major eastern cities, filmed busloads of black voters going to 13 different polling places in Philadelphia, missing ballot boxes in Republican districts in New Mexico, this garbage and a lot more like it in Wisconsin, bizarre voting intensity in Detroit, corrupt judges in St. Louis [keeping the polls open past closing time], unusual occurrences in Iowa and Washington State, perhaps Oregon, a sudden late night shift in Maine, and then there's Chicago . . . I don't even want to go there. Of course, all this is on top of tactics like the last-minte DUI "revelation". The Demo-mob machine was in high gear. And we will never win this country back from it until we deal with it and get it under control

And he never got around to discussing the Wisconsin students who bragged about voting ten times each, the vote-buying (with cigarette cartons) to the homeless, the vote-buying in urban districts (which was only uncovered when the stupid Dems tried to keep the cash this year and the crack addicts screamed for their free hand-out), the early calls by the media for Dem areas and late calls for GOP areas, the voting machine found in the trunk of one Democrat workers' car, the attempt to do the public counting behind closed doors, margins as close as FL in NM and WA (34 of 38 counties going to the 'loser') with no recounts done (they went Democrat), the illegal victory of Mrs Carnahan over Ashcroft (Mr. Carnahan was not alive on election day, she was not nominated to run in the election) setting up the Senate for Jeffords, the 'intent of the voter' rules being created as they went, the FL deadline rules being created as they went, the banks of telephone solicitors at the ready in Texas for calling Palm Beach voters (BEFORE THE POOLS WERE EVEN CLOSED AN HOUR!) to get them complaining, same-day voter registration fraud, the dead and their dogs voting, motor-voter registration fraud... *sigh* and the sad part is that I'm sure I'm leaving some out!
Mr. President, the 2002 and 2004 elections simply MUST be run beyond reproach, accurate without a shadow of doubt, and violations must be addressed... otherwise we might start seeing Third World-style problems in the immediate aftermath. Please head this off BEFORE it becomes a problem! We deserve a reliable, fair, and honest election process.
And you are saying that Enron hired Ralph Reed just to get the Christian Coalition to not support Kyoto?
You must be getting loony, perhaps after learning that your clients are outsourcing all their new IT projects to India or Russia.
No, Enron hired Ralph Reed to get the Christian Coalition to support the Kyoto Protocol.
Enron wanted Kyoto to be passed into law.
That seems to be what they do best!
