Got numbers? Real ones?

I fear that you are equating the satisfaction that many of us have at the truth coming out (Clinton being on the wrong side of the deal) with tacit approval for Milosevic or his methods.

Just because we are happy to see someone stand up to a kangaroo court and fling their own crap back in their face doesn't mean we like the guy.

No one has claimed that he's a hero. can recall nothing written here that leads me to believe that any freepers are inclined to think of him as such.

A wrongly accused scumbag is still wrongly accused regardless of his scumbagginess.

I'd like to hear both sides of the story now.

Both sides of the story have been available all along, just not in our mainstream media. We supported Islamic terrorism in Kosovo - some of us have known that all along.

I don't suppose you're refering to all the bogus numbers that the State Department and the media have been throwing around? I wonder how the US Civil War would have been portrayed around the world had CNN been around to spin it?

I'm not surprised at what Slobo said, but I'm very suprised an leftist outfit like Reuters saw fit to tell us what he said. I wonder how many American newspapers will use this story?

A slide-show on Clinton, Blair and Schroeder as a war criminals. Excellent.

I don't mean to burst your bubble or interupt your hero worship but Slobo, the Bulkan's Butcher. is hardly an admirable leader. What he did in the Balkens makes Osama look like a mere street criminal. Frankly the sooner we get rid of the Osamas Bin Ladens and the Milosovecs the better.

I'm not a Slobo's fan or admirer. Slobo was just a little corrupt dictator--not a bin Laden by any stretch; there were many and there will be many more to come. However he did fight for his country interests (unlike Billy the Boy) and as I see him now fighting the ICTY travesty I'm beginning to like him.

That's not too bad.

It does not appear that he carries the mantle of a disruptor. My only beef with Nightstalker is that I would offer him a different perspective of the events, one which I am inclined to believe is a bit more accurate.

I'm not a fan of Milosevic but I think he is telling the truth about this: The poor Albanians were/are tight with terrorists and many were terrorists themselves. I always felt we were helping the wrong people over there.

Unfortunately, we were doing much more than just helping. We have imported Saudis and Al Queda into Balkans, we wrote operational plans for Croatian ethnic cleansing, we killed lots of civilians for no good reasons.

Washington insisted was a mistake by Central Intelligence Agency (news - web sites) target planners using an outdated map.

Before embassy was built there, it was an empty lot. Why would the "planners" target it? Curious minds want to know.

I remember reading somewhere, before I joined FR, that there was a Chinese man in the building at the time that had links to Loral and China gate? Something to do with China and Clinton .

I don't suppose anyone has a list of those people who were in the building?

According to Yossef Bodansky, Clinton -- through a CIA intermediary -- agreed to let Dr. Zawahiri's Islamic Jihad overthrow Mubarak.

Maybe this is why Bush won't release the Clinton files. America would freak! All respect for the presidency would be gone. Who knows what else Clinton may have done.

If so wicked and perverse people pick on this guy, there must be something good in him. I think, I underestimated Milosevic.

Maybe that's Bush's reason, but I've gotta say, I don't understand it. America can deal with having had a Nixon as president, so why can't it deal with having had a traitor (Clinton) as president? Why would that mean all respect for the presidency would be lost?

I have no idea whether or not this is true, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that the Chinese bought the pieces/parts of the F-117 that was shot down. They then proceeded to move them to their embassy which we in turn bombed in an attempt to prevent them from carting the F-117 remenants back to China.

Never did find anything to back that up though.

For all Nixon's sins, they pale in contrast to the escapades of X42.

That the bombing of the embassy was due to an outdated map was a transparent lie. The German government, through a leak to the Frankfurter Allgemeine just before a visit Schroeder was to make to Peking, made that clear at the time.

What was outrageous was that the U.S. media insisted at the time on repeating this transparent lie that could only fool an idiot.
