I have no idea whether or not this is true, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that the Chinese bought the pieces/parts of the F-117 that was shot down. They then proceeded to move them to their embassy which we in turn bombed in an attempt to prevent them from carting the F-117 remenants back to China.

Never did find anything to back that up though.

I hadn't heard that one before but I have heard stories that the Chinese embassy was used by the Yugoslav Army for communication purposes. I have no idea if it's true but regardless - the bombing was a war crime, pure and simple. They actually bombed the Chinese territory.

They also damaged the Swiss, Swedish and Greek embassies as well as the Greek Consulate in the city of Nish.
