Woods is a rare Hollywood conservative.

Thanks for excellent summary.

He avoided answering some of O'Reilly's questions indicating he expected to be called as a witness in the Moussarri (?) trial. Woods also indicated that Moussaoui was not one of the men who travelled with him.

3rd thread on this, I'm so confused, yours was 15 minutes after the others

I saw the interview and thought it was great. I also thought it was nice that, given the shots O'Reilly has taken, that J. Woods gave him this as an EXCLUSIVE interview. Good going!

Fascinating, I saw this interview. You summarized it very well. I didn't know James Woods was one of us.

He's no dummy. Graduated MIT (he could beat all of our butts in quadratic equations).

Now I'm going to have to stay up late to see this on the 11PM rebroadcast. When was it on in the show? Early, or late?

Good one! Jimmy Wood, too. A Good Man!

For everybody in LA, O'Reilly is explaining the James Woods interview on the Al Rantel show (KABC 790) right now.

Didn't know that he was a conservative. Always enjoyed his movies. My favorite is the one where he played opposite Robert Downey, Jr. as a drug-smoking, hippy, liberal lawyer investigating a 10-year Chinatown murder. Downey played a fresh-from-Harvard attorney that interned with Woods. Interesting to note Woods IQ level. And he became an actor in Hollyweirdville!!!!

Don't get all excited...his new movie, John Q is a liberal piece of crap which advocates Nationalized health care.

We saw the interview, your summary was great! Woods also said that there were other people in lst Class, he called the stewardess over and asked her if he could talk to the captain. He told the captain that he knew that you didn't say "hijack" on an airplane to the captain, but he was fairly sure that the men sitting behind him were planning to hijack the plane.
The pilot and stewardess reported the incident to the FAA, and he heard nothing further until September 11, when the memory of his August 1 flight occurred to him, and he called the FBI thinking they would brush him off...Apparently the FBI checked the manifest on Woods' flight and compared it to the manifests of the September 11 flights, and that resulted in Woods' extensive interview.
I am VERY impressed with Woods. And good for O'Reilly.

If you remember, Woods came out against Clinton in the whole Lewinsky affair. His reasoning was essentially the old FR slogan: "Treason is the reason, but perjury will do."
In other words, he referenced that the real problem with Clinton was the sale of nuclear secrets to the Chinese Communists.

WOODS IS A LIFELONG DEMOCRAT, BUT HE SWITCHED AFTER THE cLINTONS WERE ELECTED. HE HAS PUBLICALLY SAID HE DESPISES THE GROUND THEY WALK ON....KUDOS MR WOODS.....THAT WILL COST YOU 10-20 MILLION DOLLARS!!!!

I was reading the posts and looking for a reference to the most poignant bit of what he said. It was something about how over the last 5? years there have been thousands of terrorist attacks, which causes us to not look for a Swiss for terrorists, or something like that. Wish I had a transcript of exactly what he said there. It sounded like a really good support for profiling at airports.

I think you're going to be amazed at how many Whorlywood elites are going to pull a Bono and wrap themselves in the flag as if that's they way they've always lived their lives. We should out them whenever possible by throwing their own quotes right back in their faces.

Every time I see Woods I'm reminded of that HBO movie he was in with the Quitters Anonynous section with some sure-fire methods to help people stop smoking. :-) "yeah I suppose if I mess up you'll cut over my little finger?" "No, we'll cut off your wife's little finger".
