On the O'Reilly Factor tonight actor James Woods revealed details of his August experience on board a westbound transcontinental flight -- including his conclusion that the men he saw were the actual terrorists involved in the 9/11 massacres.
Contrary to previous reports he did not report his experience to the FBI prior to 9/11.. He did, however, express his concerns about the four Middle Easterners to the pilot during the flight. He has since learned that the pilot then notified the FAA. Basically, he told the pilot that the men were acting like hijackers.
On 9/11 Woods called the FBI. The next day he was awakened early in the morning by a call from an FBI agent who asked to meet him. Woods offered to come to the FBI office and was told "No problem. We're in a car outside your house."
Woods made it clear in his interview -- and this greatly impressed O'Reilly -- that based on things the FBI said and his examination of published photographs, the men on his flight were all 9/11 'martyrs'. For one thing when he asked the agent if they had compared the manifest of his flight with the ID's of the terrorists the agent said they had received tens of thousands of calls since 9/11 but they were spending four hours with him ... in other words, "Draw your own conclusions, Mr. Woods".
He also said that the idea that none of the terrorists knew about each other was wrong since the men he saw died on different 911 flights.
He avoided answering some of O'Reilly's questions indicating he expected to be called as a witness in the Moussarri (?) trial.
Woods deserves a great deal of credit for his 'heads up' behavior and for his cooperation with the FBI.
Hubby has the TV on ALL the time and sometimes I actually pay attention.
I know this is off topic ... but I have asked for a couple of years ... what specific difference does it make that an article is posted more than once? How much extra bandwidth does it involve?
In two years, no one has specifically explained to me why posting an article twice is so bad.
And for those of us who log on to see what is being currently discussed ... it is a blessing .. because we would never have seen the article otherwise.
Bingo. My motto (one of 'em, anyway:)) has always been that' "if you're willing take sh*t, there's one thing that's guaranteed: you're gonna take sh*t."
What I've always found discouraging is that most people seem to think I'm unreasonable in taking that position.
The pilot and stewardess reported the incident to the FAA, and he heard nothing further until September 11, when the memory of his August 1 flight occurred to him, and he called the FBI thinking they would brush him off...Apparently the FBI checked the manifest on Woods' flight and compared it to the manifests of the September 11 flights, and that resulted in Woods' extensive interview.
I am VERY impressed with Woods. And good for O'Reilly.
Yup, he gets it. What's frightening is that so many don't get it. You can't Poweliize 'em with "reason". They view "reasonabless" as "weakness".
In other words, he referenced that the real problem with Clinton was the sale of nuclear secrets to the Chinese Communists.
He's not really a "conservative." He's probably thinks of himself as a democrat or an independent. What makes Woods stand out from the rest of the Hollywood crowd is that if James Woods were hooked to an EEG machine the doctors would actually record brain waves. Woods is one of those rare Hollywoood types that actually thinks before he speaks and who actually has a servicable brain.
On regular days it isn't so bad to have two or three postings, but to make life easier on people doing research, it helps if someone links the articles together so that it is easier to follow the commentary and find comments later.
He is a respectable man. I like him. The interview was GREAT!
Every time I read someone write, "...2nd thread on this...3rd thread on this" I say to myself, darn glad someone posted it again becuase I sure as heck missed the first one (or two).
And usually it is something that I found of more than routine interest.
