Yesterday, you complained about bashing Clinton, and threatened to bash every Republican president you could think of if I didn't stop. That's a lie. Post my comments if you dare. You can't because I have never taken up for Clinton. See you are such a liar that you need to make things up about those people that love their country (unlike you). You are just trying to scare people.

"
We'll go back to the way it was after the War. "
I've come to the conclusion that you are either being totaly sarcastic or you are a complete idiot.
This isn't a personal attack its just an observation.

Orson Wells was a prophet. George Orwell was pretty smart, too.

Oh here's another one out to bash our president. There's a war on because the President said there's a war on, or did you miss all those daisy cutters and Northern Alliance guys fighting for our freedom? P.S. The Constitution says that the President is the commander in chief of the armed forces or did you miss that part?

I think you mean George Orwell, but your point is right on.

And many think that Islamic Laws requiring the wearing of a 'burka (sp?) as misguided...
Perhaps a new fashion trend is about to be launched...

Read the Constitution. Especially about who has the power to declare war.
As for assertion that I'm bashing the President, you're making that up. Real close to a lie.
Go read the Constitution. Big words, but if you go slow.......(you can use your lips to mouth the words if that helps)

It was terribly dangerous to let your thoughts wander when you were in any public place or within range of a telescreen. The smallest thing could igve you away. Quite some time ago, Rush Limbaugh addressed this. There apparently is software available that can "read" the pupil of the eye. He predicted it would be used in the classroom to monitor students' reactions to the teachers' lessons. Scary, indeed!

Congress alone is constitutionally invested with the power of changing our condition from peace to war," said Thomas Jefferson and Hamilton, who described the president's constitutional role of commander-in-chief of the army and navy as "nothing more than ... first General and Admiral" after Congress declares war.

I would prefer to see surveillance of public places opened to the public, so, for example, you and I could data-mine the images to see how much time cops spend in donut shops, or how much time public works vehicles fit the description of "What's orange and sleeps five?"
All kidding aside, I think that without openness, we would get the same results as in the U.K.: Lots of cameras, but street crime goes up anyway.

See if you can follow this. The President said we are at war. We went and bombed Afghanistan. We sent troops there. We sent the navy there. Then go back to point 2. The president said we are at war. So if YOU say we are not, you are saying something negative about our beloved president. Therefore, you are Bashing Bush. And you are aiding the terrorists.

"In the context of Sept. 11, we have no choice but to accept greater use of this technology," Stephen Gaffigan, the head of the police department project, told the Journal. Don't you just love this lame Naziesque excuse, "We have no choice", oh really?

What more can I say to your post other than that I've already said you are out to aid the terrorists. What are you saying about our beloved president? Our dear leader?
