And her husband has said that he was asleep by 10:00. Too many weird things here.

In the first reports on this, I remember reading that he awoke at about 2am, found the alarm light blinking, saw a sliding door ajar, closed it and went back to bed. Immediately my bullsh*t meter went off the scale! Why, when he found the door open, did he not immediately check the ENTIRE HOUSE! That started me wondering whether something was not quite right about the story they were telling the cops and media about Danielle's disappearance.

When this story broke, I had the same feeling I had watching Susan Smith. The feeling that something was strange, amiss.....because there is.

Nice role model, these 'swingers'..Mom out at a bar til 2AM with one of her pals, undoubtably, Dad doesn't even bother looking in on the kids with a door wide open, alarm going off. Probably Mom just brought one of the weirdos home at 2AM, you know, like she probably always does.

No, it's what *I* did during college. The Domino's delivered until 3am. My kids aren't old enough for college yet - they haven't even hit high school! :-]

It'd be better not to have kids. For one with that kind of "lifestyle", you'd have no way of knowing whose kids they were. Also kids aren't stupid, sometimes parents think they're fooling them ---I know a couple who was going to get divorced, they were both cheating on each other ---they decided dividing up their material things wasn't really worth it so they stay together for convenience and apparently marriage doesn't lower their chances of getting picked up for the night. Often they alternate who stays home with the kids while the other hits the bars.
