Someone enlighten me, to what end would the media ignore this? Are they trying to hide something about the terrorists here?
Remember before the 9/11 attacks what was one of the biggest issues? Let me remind you. There were plans to give amnesty to over 3 million illegal aliens. The liberal Tennessee General Assembly decided that giving illegal aliens driver's licensing was a good way to start the process to legitimacy.
Don't forget, the liberals NEVER give up on an idea. They may quiten down for a while but you can bet your very last dollar (before they tax it away from you) that this issue will come back as soon as they think it safe.
One thing that is ugly in this is that it shows corruption in government. The sooner that we forget that there were accomplices on the public dollar who aided them (even if it was just for money and not ideology), the less likely that these kind of stories will break out to remind us of this.
