The prison guards were unable to hold back the crowd, who burst through the prison door, they said. Why can't I shake the sneaky suspicion that the guards didn't try very hard?
Where's Kevin Costner when you need him?

The incident was the latest in a series of attacks on prisons by Palestinians who say they fear Israeli air attacks on Palestinian security compounds will spread to adjacent prisons where dozens of militants have been jailed.
"What do you think Abdul...
Should we hide behind the women and children again?"
"Good idea, Habib... that always plays well in France and Belgium."

Israel gave them land, money, autonomy, arms, etc.
The United States gave them recognition, pressure on Israel, money, training, etc.
Their end of the bargain was that all they needed to promise was to renounce violence and jail the terrorists.
We are at the "fool me a thousand times shame on me" stage.
This is no longer the Arabs fault, it is now all the fault of Israel and the United States.

The prison stormings and the killing of three Palestinian prisoners by gunmen at a court last week in Jenin, in the northern West Bank, have raised the specter of growing anarchy and the breakdown of law and order in Palestinian-ruled areas. When has there ever been law and order in Palestinian-ruled areas?

I just don't get it any more. I would expect industry would love to tap cheap labor in Islamic countries. Supply and demand runs the rest of the world. You would think industrial giants would pull all the Islamic Noodnick Leaders into a consortium and explain to them what they are passing up. If you can pay 16 year old's ten cents a day to throw rocks at jews and get shot at, imagine what workers they would make for $3.00/hour building widgets? Stability is required above all else for an environment appropriate for investment. You also must have infrastructure, a relatively educated, relatively industrious workforce, and a relatively cooperative government.
If you want to invest in Palestine, you're a few short there. The only profitable venture there is selling Holy Land trinkets in Bethlehem, and selling propaganda tours to lefties from around the world.

Can't keep them on the job. They gotta have their "demonstration" breaks. Gotta have their "martyr" breaks. Gotta have their "burial" breaks. And gotta have their "prison"breaks.
