(Edited at 1:11 AM, Sunday 10 Feb)I've uploaded (in a seperate message) an Excel file I made up, based on the CDC's stats.
If 9 kids a day are dying of firearms related accidents, the CDC is seriously underreporting.
Here are some other CDC stats:
Firearm Mortality
(All figures are for U.S.)

Annual Firearm Deaths: 30,708 (1998)
Age-Adjusted Death Rate: 11.3 deaths per 100,000 population (1998)
Death Rate for Males Ages 15-19: 28.0 deaths per 100,000 population (1998)
Death Rate for Black Males Ages 15-19: 75.5 deaths per 100,000 population (1998)
Firearm Suicide Deaths: 6.4 per 100,000 population (1998)
Fire(arms?) Homicide Deaths: 4.5 per 100,000 population (1998)

What baffles and enrages me about the whole "13 Kids a Day" fraud is that it is rather widely known to be a hustle, yet the reporters who cover this stuff never seem to challenge those who propagate this lie.
