nopardons, naturally I agree- there's an "Iron Curtain of silence" on the atrocities going on in black-run African nations. The old regimes in Rhodesia & South Africa had their bad points, but they were far better than what's there now.

Beaten over the head, shot and driven off your land? Discriminated against?
I guess your grand-daddy didn't have a problem with the "Whites Only" signs in Mississippi, either. Are you actually naive enough to believe that, or are you just a cynic?

The truth is that things haven't gotten better or worse (except for the former racist ruling class). The only difference between now and then is that things have a chance to get better for everyone (though from the current state of affairs, its a slim chance).
