I bit my tongue on this one and held off until Frivolous Friday.
After trying other avenues, I find the need to resort to fellow FReepers for the answer to my current trivia obsession: What's the theme song for last year's Mitsubishi Eclipse commercial?
You've seen it: sort of edgy rock, sort of reggae - the white car is shown in quick cuts of three scenes: the three girls pulled up at the gas pump, the slender girl at the same (?) gas station patting her leg to the beat, and the sexy brunette writhing to the beat in the passenger seat next to her geekazoid date, as they pass a shiny-chrome gasoline tanker truck in a tunnel.
Song phrases like "get up, get up", "start the commotion" etc. with heavy bass beat.
Enough clues? Help! Is it a published, available song or just written for this commercial?
