And yet she still has her own TV show( Geraldo doesn't even bother me he actually highly praised President Bush but I can't stand Greta).

She was hurt by that CNN comment? You mean she isn't proud of her "career" as a "professional journalist"??? Or could it be she was upset by being linked to a failing network? Or perhaps she's distressed that someone called it like it is - she's a made-over lib who just can't cut it anywhere.

An interesting point is that Gretta's old CNN product was unchallenged DNC talking points, liberal nonsense that made people feel good about themselves. A defining characteristic of this old demographic Fox hopes to lure over is "groupthink" made up of groupthinkers who perceive opinions other than those expressly endorsed by the group as threatning. If you add the spector of truth to opposing view points, you get insurmountable conflict that generates anxiety. Off goes Fox.

If anxiety and aggressive conflict cost audience, then THE NFL would not be on TV. I'll be you think runaway games decided in the first quarter draw the most viewers.

Did anyone see Bill O'reilly getting into Geraldo. He was really ribbing him. Sure looked like bad blood there.

What I can't figure is why don't they bring up the ranks instead of going for these stupid CNN people like Greta whats her name.

Give me another quote from Camus that I may respect more, otherwise Camus can squat. Please not everyone can be responsible for their face after 30 unless some idiotic philosopher wants to make you think this is a deep subject. Genes has a lot to do with this as well as environment. Have you ever seen a farmer's face that works in the sun all day?

I disagree. I'm tired of scrolling through sophmoric crap that makes Freepers looks like immature teeny-boppers. I will use my first amendment right to call an asshole when I see an asshole - even if they are a Freeper! What was frustrating in this particular thread was there was something interesting to discuss, but one has to scroll through all these idiotic posts to find the discussion! I'm not very patience with liberals and some of these less than thoughtful conservatives.

If anxiety and aggressive conflict cost audience...

internal conflict

Football doesn't threaten one's concept of self, however political debate does.

Gretta's old audience looks at things like this... I am a good person because I believe x, but what I am hearing is that x is actually harmful whereas y is the compassionate right choice to make. But because my group is rallied around x, I must accept x else I be austracized.

It's disfunctional behavior. That is why liberal insanity broadcast by liberal charlatans is accepted by liberal dupes because of "groupthink" (look it up, it is an accepted and understood dynamic of organizational behavior). Liberals/Democrats work the intellectually lazy to obtain power.

How this rather simple concept ties into Football is incomprehensible blather.

Liberalism can not defended, not even by Gretta. That is why viewers who found the old product palatible, will wretch and heave at the new product. Hence the turning of the channel.

Van Susteren even has Wesley Clark on tonight--he is a partisan and shouldn't be commenting on issues on War and Peace. Van Susterena and Major Garrett have no business on FOX NEWS-- they are the enemy within.
