Of course there has been crimes. Hundreds. The easiest to prove would be the post-subpoena shredding.

Whatever the special prosecutor law, I question why one would be needed. The politicians have hooked themselves to Enron, but I don't see a connection to Enron's fall. The special prosecutor would be for presidential or congressional misconduct, I believe, and perhaps someone can explain that. I would think this is an issue for state, and maybe federal district attorneys. Or the Securities and exchange Commission.

I thought the OIC statute was specific to the executive branch and not private?
