Guess the liberals will have to find something else to whine about.

These are the same liberals who couldn't stand special prosecutors when they were investigating clinton, right?
During the clinton years, there were real crimes with investigators looking for suspects. The liberals now want investigators looking at suspects in hopes of finding a crime. Interesting juxtaposition, don't you think?

Bummer. I was waiting for the headlines:
Special Prosecutor subpeonas Clinton, Richardson, McLarty, Ron Brown's widow, Albright, Prime Ministers' of India, Mozambique, Croatia & Nigeria. Announces many more to follow.
Lieberman, Daschle and Waxman announce joint vacation to Indonesia. Fritz Hollings checks into nursing home for "jest a little tech of rehab".

I think the independent prosecutor law has expired, therefore one cannot be appointed.
But the Libs will spin this into "The Bush Administrate refuses to appoint an independent prosecutor". Forget the details that they can't.

The main reason that the liberals are crying for a special prosecutor is because the investigation would then be privateand they could make all the nasty innuendos that they pleased.
The justice department announced that they are investigating Enron back through 1999. The Democrats did not want the investigation to go back that far. I guess this is all backfiring on them.

Good- the position of Special Prosecuter is bogus anyways. It is the duty and responsibility of CONGRESS to investigate potential crimes by the President.
Didn't we learn anything from Janet Reno?

Oh, boo-hoo. I feel sorry for old Fritz Hollings.

We'll see how this pans out. The libs are whining about this to keep attention OFF the Global Crossing scandal in which DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe is likely involved in insider trading while making $18 MILLION in profit on his $100,000 investment.
DIMocRAT tactic: If you tell the lie often enough, people will believe it. That's what's going on with Enron. They don't have anything on Bush et al, but they're TALKING the scandal into the media. . .
