They could have had the names go up with Ray Charles singing, then had U2 come later for the finale. RC singing America the Beautiful as the names scrolled by would have been the ultimate.

Who the hell cares if the band was American? Its the product that counts, they're only the biggest band in the world for years running. Get over it.
