I can't stand U2. And by the by....why, with all of this Patriotic fervor being slavered all over the place do we have two Brits doing the entertaining? McCartney and U2?
Whassup widdat? Where the hell are the American bands?

Who knows? I guess this is the Super Bowl tribute to diversity. Got to admit I just love "streets with no name". Rock on Bono (and shaddup about US corporations!).

U2 is the group singing now in front of the list of 9/11 dead? I rather like them and definitely like the names of honored dead being displayed.....Maybe having a Brit band playing is a nod to international diplomacy?

I hate Bono's politics as much as anybody else here. But I must admit to being a huge fan of this band U2. Since their debut in 1980, I have seen them in concert four times and never get tired of their music. It's a shame though that we couldn't find some American bands for the Super Bowl. I would have liked to see Charlie Daniels Band and George Thorogood. They would have rocked the place to its foundation.
