Fans here in New England are bouncing off the walls. We thought the game was going to be a lot closer than the pundits were predicting but none of us even dreamed we could hold the Rams to a first half field goal and be up 14-3 at the half.

My phone is ringing off the hook too and I'm telling everybody to calm down, that there is still a half left to play and that the Rams can be explosive in the third quarter.

It was nice to see Brady drive the team for an offensive touchdown (after the defense recovered a fumble). We can't put this game entirely on the backs of the defense.

Going in the Pats favor is that they will be receiving the ball to start the second half. If they can score on that drive, it will be very difficult for the Rams to recover. Also, Belichick is a genius for making second half adjustments. The Pats have played better in the second half consistently all season long.

It's going to be a great second half. If the Rams come from behind, it will be the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history. If the Patriots hold on and win, it will be the greatest upset in Super Bowl history. Greater than even the Jets win in 1969.

Finally, a Super Bowl to remember!

Great minds, and all that...see my post 354.

Here's the game plan for the second half. The Pats Kamikaze defensive backs continue to pound the sh&t out of the St Louis wide receivers.

I'd still say the Jets upset would be greater, but either way you are right, it makes for a memorable game.

I can't see a Billichick defense giving up this lead. But then, if an offense can do it against one of his schemes, it would be this one...

Brady is just getting his stride, finding his targets - he learns fast...

the Patriots are up by 11 - and that's no small feat...

Brady is going to pick apart the rams in the second half...

Well, ain't THIS a switcheroo. A Super Bowl game that doesn't suck and commercials (so far) that have been boring and/or stupid. The Budweiser "horses bowing" spot has been the only one I'll remember tomorrow.

Who forgot to tell the Patriots that they're supposed to lose this thing?
