I'll defend Pats fans on this. The true liberals of Boston wouldn't want to have anything to do with such a proletariat sport as pro football, its just so beneath them. They are too haughty to even understand football, too worried about finding a new way to protest American troops and bitter about the Contras. Well put. I've been to Patriot games and the parking lot is always full of pickups and proper flag-waving, beer-drinking, good Americans. You'd think you were in the middle of Nebraska or something. Most liberals wouldn't be caught dead in such a setting.
