I was too. i thought it was great. I got goose-bumpy. Especially when the towers fell. Very good performance by U2. Though I don't know the full politics of the song. It doesn't matter. The U.S., though not perfect, is a hell of a good country. And what happened to us was wrong. And the performance projected that thought.

Except for maybe a few xenophobics/wet blankets, anyone under 40 was blown away ... unlike that rat/smoking ad. Look at the bright side. "TheLie.com" spent 3.8 million bucks (1.9 mil apiece) on those ads, which means that much less they have to pollute the airwaves with their propaganda. No one is going to remember either one 7 nanoseconds after they ran.
