We would still be negotiating with the Taliban government in Kabul...

gore would hold a " terrorist grievances" hearing or summit, to understand just what we did to piss off the terrorists. distinguished guests yasser arafat, king assad, madeleine albright, fidel castro, osama bin laden, and bill clinton, would air grievances and complaints against the US. gore would graciously agree, apologize for the errors or the united states' ways, and promise to make things better for the terrorists, so they wont hate us so much, and thus, wont feel compelled to express their anger and frustration with our evil nation by driving planes into symbols of evil capitalism and freedom.

One bit of good news if Gore was President on 9/11: He would have taken Jesse up on his offer to negotiate with the Taliban. And the Taliban would've done away with the "King of Beers" after just five minutes of listening to his annoying haranguing.

When I read the headline of this post, my reaction was, I don't know and I don't know how anyone could ever know. Then I came across your quite correct reply. You have it exactly right.
