FReeper milagro posted on America the Right Way.. today, that her husband, 1John, died yesterday of a massive heart attack.

John was a fine man, who loved the Lord, his wife, and his country.
He had served in the military, and has a son in the military now.

Please keep milagro & the family in prayer.

This is such a shock to her, and completely unexpected.

Please let her know you are praying for her.

She told me John would be honored knowing he was mentioned on the Forum......as they both love Free Republic.

To all that have said such wonderful things about my father, I thank you all. My father has left such a large impression on my life, and it makes me feel better to know that he has done the same for so many more, and as a fellow service member I salute the best man I have ever had the opportunity to meet,and love.... Jon, I met your father during our quarterly Freepathons (we raise money to keep this website running strong) a year or two ago. His love of this cyber community and this website and this country shone through. He worked at the fundraising, challenging others, running a fishing contest, always there, keeping our spirits up, not letting us quit.

He was pure in heart.

We will all miss him.

Thank you so much for your post. It does my heart good to know you've read about your father here and seen how loved and respected he was and that you're with milagro right now.

I keep thinking, "It's okay, he's just gone fishin', he's just gone fishin'."

Just an observation that it's been nearly a week, and 1John is still not yet listed at the FReeper Memorial page/site.

If that's per the family's request, nevermind. But if it's a matter of 1John's having slipped between the cracks, I figured a reminder couldn't hurt.
