It is quite sad that we even need to waste out time lobbying on something like this. President Reagan and Bush's father both denied funding to UNFPA. This is not even about being pro-life; rather, it is about not being actively pro-abortion by funding an organization that supports forced abortion.

If Bush's knees are getting wobbly over a no-brainer like this, what will happen when it is time to select a Supreme Court Justice?

I made my call, and I also said that I think that the President is doing a GREAT job ... it's important, I think, to praise him and commend him as well as urge him to move in the right direction.

IMHO, I think he has already made a decision on this and is going to withhold the funds. I think his people are working on generating support for this decision by urging us to call in.
