I agree with you. Already, America has lost its greatness. de Toqueville said, "America is great because she is good and when she ceases to be good she will cease to be great." This has already happened before our very eyes. Greatness is measured in moral values, not dollars or guns or crooked politicians or lame coalitions. Since all moral values flow from a Holy God, and since our govt. and institutions have rejected the Holy God, our nation is now officially immoral; and the immorality has been clearly manifest in 40 million dead babies, homosexual civil unions, euthanasia, historical revisionism, moral awfulness among the people, political corruption, and moral relativism.

Amen and Amen!
By this time next year, we will be talking about how good it was back then.
Political correctiveness destroy this nation in less than 10 years.

I have to disagree with you. Look at how Americans acted on 9-11 in New York City, the place where many of these "moral" crimes take place. Look at the chubby middle-aged office workers; probably "sheeple" in many a conservative's estimation who gave their lives to save others.
Granted, I agree that freedom does seem a bit strained at times while suffering under the Nanny State. (Though I'm too young to know first hand). But the spirit of American People is pretty indominatable. After 9-11, people sent clothes, food, even their own blood. Hell, even Rosie O'Donnell donated $2 million of her own money for the 9-11 victims.
Very few people are going to be pious holy rollers. They'll take the easy way out in many a moral judgement. Good people have to set them on the right path. But many have been saying, "This generation is not as moral as the last." for hundreds of years.
Americans as a bunch are pretty good people. Even today.
