BTW-was ted kennedy drunk? When the camera would pan to him, once I saw him mimicking silly waves and another time I saw him burp, yeah, really big time, not that that means he was drinking...but he just looked on the edge of losing control.

That's because he really, really needed a drink. Probably had a few before but was getting behind schedule during the speech. Maybe he was bobbing down to suck on a tube from an ankle flask.
