Telepathic Football Threatens Chilean Teens
VILLA SAN RAFAEL, Chile (Wireless Flash) -- Forget Bigfoot or the Mothman. The newest paranormal creature is a four-legged football.
Believe it or not, a creature matching that exact description has been sighted threatening teenagers in Villa San Rafael, Chile.
Researchers at the Calama UFO Center in Chile claim the mysterious menace has wings, a face like a large bulldog and is "shaped like a rugby football with legs."
Paranormal researcher Dr. Virgilio Sanchez-Ocejo isn't sure if the creature is one of those goat-sucking chupacabras, but admits both animals telepathically communicate with humans.
The winged football is just one of hundreds of strange creatures that have been terrorizing Chile since 1999 and Dr. Sanchez-Ocejo suspects the mysterious beings are entering Chile through a dimensional doorway.

hi lynn
thanks
yaks is right
your son had an amazing experience
being up in that unusual part of our planet
and meeting the lovely Tibetan people
since the theme of the thread is encounters of an unusual kind
I guess it's ok to mention I read a book by a woman who lived on the planet Venus
and then relocated to our planet
the first third of her book was about her life on Venus, which I found fascinating
then she described the trip in the ship to Earth
they stopped first in Tibet
where the Tibetans gave them food and lodging for a week
then they flew to the desert here
a car met her there
and drove her to Mississippi where she then lived (this was back in the '50s)
she arrived as a 10 year old child
the grandmother did not know she was from Venus
and gave her money to go to the movies with her cousins
the movie she saw was a sci/fi movie from the '50s
'bout ships in outer space
she liked the movie but what she really loved was the salty peanuts
maybe Venus does not have salty peanuts
Love, Palo

My son found the Tibetan people to be just the most wonderful people on earth...he spent a few days living with some nomads on the plains and he had just a wonderful time...he said they are so poor, so dirty, yet so very happy with their lives...they have their herds...yaks and goats, and the children are just so sweet...the children were fascinated with all the things that 'westerners' bring with them, and they so much enjoyed playing with his cameras, his watch, and all the things he just takes for granted
he spent much of his time with the children, playing tag, and giving them piggy bag rides(My son is extremely tall 6'5" and quite big and muscular)Then the children showed him how they round up the goats for the night, and place them in a pit lined with yak dung and cover the whole thing over for warmth...I guess he got quite a kick out of the whole thing, but did find that sometimes it was hard to keep up with even the children, because he was still getting acclimatised to the high altitude, while the Tibetans, having been born there are adapted better for it...
But he said, once night fell, and in their beds in the tents with the nomads, life had taken on quite a different perspective than he was used to...But Chinese encroachment is everywhere in Tibet, so my son was glad to have seen and lived with these Tibetan nomads, before the time comes when their culture and way of life may be done away with by the Chinese..

I love you too.:)
Is my wearing an old husband's old Turnbull and Asser shirt not chic enough?:) Is that why Judith Anne is ignoring these pings ya think?
To: palo verde
Hi, sweet palo. You pinged me just as I arrived to peruse the thread. How about
that?
A couple of months ago, I was looking at the stars, thinking I might spot a satellite moving across. One star MOVED and stopped. I knew satellites wouldn't do that. As I watched, it again moved at right angles, stopped, moved again and kept on doing this as long as I watched. Unable to figure it out right then, I gave it the "I'll worry about that tomorrah" treatment. So I'm absolutely elated to read about it here. Now I want to know what it is.

my talent for geography is not dazzlin' at least I know Florida is not next door to New York how are your geography lessons with Westy progressin' ,
Hi! Palo, just click on this to zoom in on your house in Tucson and wave to me.
I have just passed your co-ordinates to the armed forces so they can send you a present- lol
To: grannie9; Christine11
Grannie...did you actually swim in a cenote? I thought they were reserved for sacrificed virgins :)
To: GeronL
I'm in the dark about what you mean. But I'm listening...

I spent my boyhood summers swimming in Lake Okanagan.
We scared ourselves silly, especially in the evening, worrying about Ogopogo coming up from the dark waters beneath us and gobbling us whole!
'Naitaka' was the local Native name for the, I presume mythical, beast.
Don't know nothin' about no 'dimensional doors' though. ;^)
To: okimhere
The Chupacabre (thought to be mythical) means 'goat-sucker' but is to have attacked humans. I think it started in Puerto Rico and went to Mexico after that.
I'm sure there have to be webpages devoted to it somewhere, they even had an episode about it on Dexters' Lab =o)

Couldn't help reading your post to palo. You special (forces) guys are ruthless. I'm glad the armed forces have pinpoint control so the Daisy Cutter won't hurt me over here.
To: GeronL
ok, I'll go look it up.

hi headsonpikes
I found your post interesting
(it made me giggle too)
I never knew 'bout Ogopogo till Westy told me 'bout it here
Swimming is my favorite thing, and swimming in lakes best of all
It's funny 'bout a kid's imagination tho
I lived on Riverside Drive as a kid (right by Hudson River)
I used to watch them pull lobsters (or big crabs) out of the River
when I swam in the lovely pond in the Adirondacks during the summer
I'd walk over to the deep water by the water fall
and be sure lobsters and crabs and sea monsters lived there lol

Hi Palo... long time no type...lol
Cenotes are large or small openings in the ground where you can see the underground rivers flow... They are like crystal lakes with very clear water.. Some are very deep and you need to climb down rocks or ladders to get to them and some are like ground level lakes. Some open up to caves where you can swim for long distances.. They are half salt and half fresh water and they give off a crackling noise..
You do not have to be a sacrificial virgin to swim in them anymore.. Just a lover of good clean, clear, cool water...

Love, Palo
