Thank you for those... educational.. photos. Give us, um, some real insights into Aragorn's character, really. I mean, just look at that last one - oh dear. Um, I need to find something else to post about.

So... anyone else think Gimli is a perfect definition of the word 'irascable'? Or what about this - since Frodo and Sam don't have magic elf-rope or lembas, how exactly are they going to get to Mt. Doom?

Viggo Mortensen aside (and that is no easy task), Aragorn is truly the most amazing character in the book. He and Gandalf spend years traveling Middle Earth and quietly saving everyone. And Aragorn is 'just a man'. He can't have his true love until he's cleaned up Middle Earth and becomes king, he and his Rangers singlehandedly protect the Shire, he is noble, honest, brave, etc. etc.

Frodo and the Hobbits have their shining hour but no one works as hard as Aragorn!

(have I redeemed myself from my photo ogling?)
