"American Airlines Center has more toilets per capita than any other sports and entertainment venue in the country. With more than a 3:1 ratio of women's vs. men's toilets, it exceeds the requirements of the Texas "Potty Parity" law."
The Feminist Version of Equality In Law: a 3:1 ratio in their favor.

... it exceeds the requirements of the Texas "Potty Parity" law. I didn't know Texas had such a law. I've heard of proposals like it in other states, but I never thought they would be taken seriously.
Can anyone give me more info on this law? What kind of buildings does it cover? What is the required ratio? Are there any exceptions to this law (i.e. gentlemen's clubs, private businesses, etc.)?

You can't tell me. I'm getting out of church at that time.

In our family, there are no modest men.

I thought you'd get the hint. It's the Steelers' new stadium. Built last year.

Next you'll be saying big guys like me should wear size medium shirts to make sure everything is "equal". Buncha leftists these days.

Can you imagine your mom, wife or daughter having to squat over the open troughs/drains that we guys stand in front while we "go" at many sporting venues?I think it was Adam Carolla who first started agitating for this, but we need partitions between separate urinals, in order to maintain our dignity. (they could add partitions to "the trough," come to think of it, it would be cheap and effective)

In our family, there are no modest men.Why not, what's wrong with modest men, and why would you impose this lack of modesty on every other guy in America? Bit of a social-totalitarian streak there, NWSD

Yep. Every concert or theatrical production I've attended in my city included the following entertainment during intermission: women using the men's restrooms (1:1 ratio) while men stood guard for them at the door. Nobody objects. It's a male/female cooperative effort in service of common sense, PC sensibilities notwithstanding. We ALL want to return to the theatre before intermission is over. Calling this a feminist issue is ridiculous.

Texas law says 2:1 ratio.
It's just feminist male-bashing to define # of restrooms "spots" for women as a ratio to those for men.
If they want X # of stalls for every Y # of women, let them toss that out. But legislated inequity is no better that legislated equity.
I'd say an infinite number of times worse.

What's worse is that this scatological issue is the one occupying the feminists' time these days. Oh well. Where the heart is, the mind follows: the toilet.

It was a "size" joke. But no one got it.
