Surely this could not have happened during the 'most ethical administration ever'?

Further proof that we will never stop paying for the Klintoons running our country.

Thanks for the post.
Whenever one of Clintons EEOE hirings decided to quit because of Clintons failied policies and finding out they weren't qualified for the job, Clinton gave them a nice, cushy, high-paying, do-nothing job in the unmonitored Edu Dept.
It would come as no surprise then that the largest cash cow for bonuses would be there as well.
Clintons campaign slogan, had he been truthful about his agenda, would have been
"Vaseline for everyone!"

Whose bright idea was it to pay government workers bonuses to begin with?

Hallelujah!!!!!! that this is coming before the public now!
Way to go, FOX !!!!!
Can anybody say: PAYOFFS to people who did the Clinton dirty work?????
Let's get the full list of the people who got these "bonuses" (payoffs) out before the public- NOW - and then let PResident Bush make clear these are over - and any "bonuses" people in his exec branch agencies get will be for:
1. cutting waste, fraud, and abuse of private citizens
2. doing their job and the jobs of a couple of others just like is happening in most businesses today due to the tight squeeze from the economic recession which should hit the government types just as hard as it is hitting private business types!

1993, sounds like Clinton. That same year he signed an executive order disallowing administration (Bush administration) officials to get a consulting or lobbying job for 5 years! Guess what he did just before leaving office, among many other heinous things, reversed that order so all his cronies can have consulting and lobbying jobs right now!!

More disgusting results of the Klintoons! Will it ever stop?

Bonuses to government executives??? Good Lord, what a crock. Notice the list of agencies thus far - FAA, NHTSA, and the Depart of Ed???? Sheesh...the Department of Ed couldn't even be audited the books were such a mess. What a joke.

Big Bonuses for Clinton Execs Escerpt:
WASHINGTON As the federal government rounded off its first quarter of deficit spending since 1997, Congress and the Bush administration are eyeing the $32 million in bonuses afforded federal civil service executives during the last year of the Clinton administration.
Bonuses averaging more than $11,000 per executive went to officials in agencies that didn't even meet performance standards, and they totaled nearly 25 percent more than the prior year. Fiscal year 2001 bonuses have not been computed yet.
I'm convinced we'll never stop hearing about this scum bag. . .

"Some of the larger bonuses have gone to executives at:
The Federal Aviation Administration...
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration...
- Department of Education, where 39 executives got nearly $500,000 in bonuses last year, the highest payout of all the Cabinet agencies
despite a General Accounting Office report that said the department provided 'no fiscal year 2000 data for many indicators, no discussion of why goals were not met and no strategies on how the department would reach its goals.'"
Ahhh...but just imagine the support these, "executives" lent the Sink Emporer throughout Its entire administration.
Either nothing but lots of Blue Sky psycobabble whenever asked or, better yet?
Strategically placed, "No Comment" whenever querried?
Think of the number of quislings X42 had salted throughout the Federal leviathon who were feeding info back to his imps & harpies in the WH basement?
No wonder people were scared-shitless into silence.
Motive-motive-motive; the thief was bribing Federal employees using Its access to federal dollars as the payoff moola.
For crying out loud this reeks so bad it isn't funny.
Wanna bet our Bush administration has permitted all of these *executives* to remain in those positions, too.
...the cancer has metatisized into ever fiber; top to bottom.

Hate to say it, but this sort of abuse is by no means unique to the Klinton regime. Ever hear the term "Uncle Sugar"?
To: Freedom'sWorthIt
"Bonuses for government executives should be tied directly to their success at meeting clear and measurable goals," said Rep. Harold Rogers, R-Ky., chairman of the transportation panel. "Taxpayers expect results." This is the Clinton recession.
They go ahead and deficit spend.
We have very high tax burdens in the U.S.
Shame on them.
Why this recession is happening to hurt the country so thoroughly while a Republican is in power that one has to wonder how much it is an artificial creation of the same clowns that trashed the White House.
