my wife went to private Catholic schools
Public school did well by me in grade school "back then". The one year I went to a small rural public high school, I got a very poor grounding in geometry -- which affected my spatial visualization when it came to analytic geometry later on. The other 3 yrs. of hs and University were Catholic and solid academically.

But then the teachers had to drill, drill, drill -- and I think the secret is: it is more boring to them than to the kids. Plus, without inventing new theories in graduate schools of education (like fuzzy math), what would those profs. publish? They might, well, perish! ;)

You get an A and go to the front of the class. A lot of conservatives fail to realize that rural cleansing of Bush Country is a real covert goal of the enviral nazis.

Yes, people need to realize that we have to support rural and small town America. Not only on political issues, but by supporting their livelihoods.
Then, last but not least, we have a moral responsibility to support American Citizens when the Green Nazis try ethnic rural cleansing on these fellow Americans!
