Thought I heard Mary Matalin say that they would turn over the records to a committee, if they were subpoenaed.I think that the WH wants a legal reason to turn over the records, not a Dem fishing expedition.They don't want to set a precedent which would allow Waxman and Hillary to demand every memo on WH operations, to use for political purposes.
