What is it with women chasing married guys?

In my late teens / early 20's, I worked in a printing plant with several attractive single girls my age. All of us young guys and gals would hang out together after work and on weekends, but the girls only seemed interested in the married guys when we were at work. They would talk to them at their presses and occasionally go to lunch with them. I overheard the gals' conversations about the married men - ("Ron's got a nice butt," etc, etc.) Rumors of infidelity flew around the shop.

I would sometimes (half-jokingly) make the remark, "I can't wait to get married, so I can have lots of girlfriends."

Sure enough - Since I've been married (10 years on Feb. 1st), I've had more come-ons and propositions from younger women than I care to mention! What is going on?!

All I can say is
WHERE WERE THEY WHEN I WAS SINGLE?!

To a single young woman looking for fun, married men are (1) a somewhat exotic challenge (i.e. forbidden fruit); (2) most likely not going to want anything more than sex; (3) more seasoned in the art of carnal congress; and (4) probably a bit more emotionally mature than a young man in his late teens or early twenties.

It's a very dangerous game...

People get hurt...

Sometimes fatally!

My guess: Another woman found you to be a good catch (they'll trust one-another's judgement in guys) and, should they succeed in turning your head, it'd be a feather in their cap. The foxier the competition, the bigger the feather :)

What's going on? I think it goes something like this: If a man is married there must be something useful about him so married men are the target. The corollary is that if a man is single there must be something wrong with him so single men are not noticed. Basically, too lazy (or blond) causes the blind leading the blind. Go figure.

I see alot of it,many of the women out there (and men)need lead poisoning. Most of the female ones I deal with have small heads ,I think it is from their mothers being pickled while pregnant.

Learning Channel ( i think) had a show about human sexuality...some head shrinker was saying that a man who is married is more desirable to some women because it appeals to their subconcious needs for someone who is a proven provider.
