A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 1/17/02

President Bush signed the Promoting Safe and Stable Families bill today, which expands programs for at-risk children as well as supports those programs that encourage adoption, and those that try to reunite broken families or provide additional benefits for youths in foster care who are nearing adulthood without being adopted. Bush also met with labor leaders to discuss an energy policy that will help Americans find jobs as well as make the country less dependent on foreign energy products. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

BRAVA!! Great post!

The RATS have been trying, and failing to outwit this "dumb" guy from Texas (and they ain't never gonna figur im out)! The great state of Texas' loss is our country's, and the world's gain!

He's the head of the carpenters union. Has an Irish name I can't remember. Great looking white hair.

Great thread as usual. I enjoy it for many reasons. It keeps me up on what our President is doing and it is fun to read what like-minded people have to say about our Commander-in-Chief after almost a decade of perversion. It is such a striking contrast that I believe that even the soccor Moms are seeing it. Whether I agree with every administration policy is neither here nor there. (although I don't disagree with much of anything) I appreciate the man. He is a leader that the American people can follow without embarrassment. He is an inspirational man. That is what is getting the goats of the two disrupters. They can't take a truthful man.

Thanks, rintense. So much.

Wphile-I'm with you. Picture #1 is a heart string tugger. The sweetness in that picture is something that cannot be staged....LOVE IT!

I can't see rintense's ping list, so this is an open invite to all who read this thread.

In case this hasn't shown up here yet, NBC's Tom Brokaw will show a one-hour program on January 23 (8 PM EST), Inside the real White House. The program is the result of Brokaw spending a day with Bush and his advisors at the wH. Should be good.
