The Justice Dept. will turn over to JW the total amount of documents responsive to its FOIA request. These shrink-wrapped boxes will stay in JW's office until such time as JW decides that it is worth its time to actually open them and see what is inside. That time will often never come. JW really doesn't care what the documents are because it is not actually interested in discovery of information. JW has TONS of unopened boxes in its office.

Even if it opened the boxes, Judicial Watch does not have the manpower or expertise to make sense of what the e-mails or other documents represent.

Is it fair to say that the Bush administration, with its vast and mighty resources, is not interested in the discovery of information either and "really doesn't care"?

The DOJ really doesn't care what the documents are because it is not actually interested in discovery of information. The DOJ has TONS of unopened boxes in its office.

The DOJ is doing excactly what Janet Ashcroft is supposed to have it do. Faith in the system. ha ha.
