Leave aside the fact that several STUDIES, like the one in New Jersey a few years ago, make your THEORY questionable. For my benefit, could you draw some lines for me. Start with an X & Y axis. At some point draw a horizontal line which intersects the Y axis. Let's use 4. Label that line "minwage".(I like your number.) Somewhere above "4" draw a line parallel to the first one. Lets use a variable like "Z" for the point on the Y axis. Label that line "Average minimum cost to live."
Now draw some of those cute little two-ended arrows between the 2 lines. Label that area "What the taxpayers have to pay to subsidize cheap, greedy, stingy, businesses."
