The bigger it is, the harder it pulls? I still don't under stand. Is there an interaction between the bodies or is there a distortion. Either way, it looks to me like something has to be working FTL for them not to fly away from each other. parsy.

Either way, Whether it acts instantaneously like a radio-control car or is a permanent warp in the continuum, it in effect is always there and Jupiter just rides in the groove like a Victrola needle. However you want to look at it.

Newton said there is an interaction between bodies, Einstien said space is distorted. Gavitation lens observations support Einstien, but classical mechanics still works real good, so, Newton view of the universe is valid until you get into the really heavy stuff.
