Extract from much longer article at "http://www.pacificsites.com/~mec/NEWSL/ISS19/13Brown.html":
" Enron, which closed a deal, backed by the U.S. Export-Import Bank, to develop European markets for Russian gas, has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of the Administration's export policy. During the past two years, the Ex-Im Bank has supported Enron's agreements with Turkey, India, the Philippines and China - deals worth nearly $4 billion. Kenneth Brody, head of the Ex-Im Bank, is a close friend of Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin, having worked with Rubin at Goldman, Sachs. Enron is listed on Rubin's 1993 financial disclosure statement as one of the forty-four companies with which Rubin had "significant contact" during his years at the investment firm. (Brody, by the way, is said to be a leading candidate to take over at Commerce if Brown, under investigation for everything from slumlording to collecting $400,000 for his "share" in a company in which he had invested nothing, is forced to resign.) Maybe the current media interest in researching fact will finally result in a discussion of Clinton wrong-doing. A Google search of "Enron," "DNC," and, probably, any year (above was "1995") of the Clinton corruption era should develop a long list of the above kind of leads. These, of course, were ignored while Willie was in office. Let us make sure that the TOTAL Enron issue is examined in the DC hearings!

Thanks for the ping! Another Enron/Ron Brown connection. Wonder if the RATS are liking what they wished for -- a full investigation that would track to the WH -- they just miscalculated -- it is tracking to a President alright -- only the ex-president clinton instead of the current occupant of the WH! Gotta love it!

Even better, Robert Rubin is named here, too. I guess HE should get a subpoena, too!

These articles keep mentioning the Export-Import Bank. As I recall, this was one of the first areas that Bush wanted to target and scrap. He even won praise from Ralph Nader on that. Not sure if they succeeded but I think they severely cut back its budget. Another Enron favor...NOT!

good point and that is where this will go to. Right back at Clinton. Maybe we will solve some old cases. At any rate the rats from the far left have this all ready. They have bumper stickers and posters coming out and tshirts too! LOL All they want to do is smear Bush. This election year. They want to keep it going all year.
