The main point here is: "In all the time since, they had made no attempt to create an independent Palestinian state west or east of the Jordan and none was ever established." Yet now those continuously hostile to the nation of Israel demand Palestinians have their own country "back," and that the Israelis are "occupying Palestine." What the. . ?

FWIW, I've made that point for years. The Arab states have literally millions of square miles of empty lands... why not settle the Palestinians? Unless what they really wanted was not a solution, but a perpetual grievance....

Kinda reminds you of how the Democrats operate, doesn't it? They, like the Palestinians, don't want any solutions to their "problems." They just want the issue to use as a hammer to hit with.

Your question is spot-on. But notice how those who are the most vocal in their opposition to Israel (both left and right, even here on FR) never ask that question.

Yeah, Jordan, UAE, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, etc. and etc., why don't you help your fellow Muslim brothers and sisters out?
