The people we're fighting are funded in part by the money we pay to the IRS. Depressing.

Good Find! Thanks for the ping! I just get sick when I think of all the elderly people who leave their estates to these fraudulent groups, thinking they are giving back to the environment. What a scam, but hats off to the writer of the Sac Bee series. He should get a pullitzer!

The WSJ Opinion Journal did an artical on this a week or so ago. The way it works is that the benign sounding groups, such as the Institute for Marine Science, are given grants to do studies or set up educational projects, but these groups have over lapping boards of directors with the enviro freak groups, such as PETA. So, in the end the tax-payers are funding the very groups that they are fighting.

On top of the fraudulent grant writing, these groups have used bogus scientific evidence to bolster their positions, like the campaign that was waged against eating swordfish (which never really endangered).

The WSJ gave a link to a web-site that tracks the over-lapping board members and the contributors to the various enviro-nazi groups, but it's on my other computer. I'll try to post it for you when I get it set up, again. (I got a new computer).

Like oil dollars to the Arabs, just more paying for the bullets that will kill us.
