Why is Rush suddenly submitting editorials to newspapers ranging from the Wash Post, Wash Times, LA Times and others on a seemingly weekly basis? Is he trying to get picked up as a once a week syndicated columnist?

Don't get me wrong, I love reading Rush as much as listening too him and wish he would write another book. But something is afoot.

With all due respect to Rush, the U.S. is NOT facing an energy crisis in the future. This country doesn't "rely" on Middle East oil -- it simply prefers to buy much of it from the Middle East because it's the least expensive source of oil on the world market.

If all of the countries in South America stopped shipping bananas to the U.S., we'd simply have to pay more money to get them from somewhere else. But because the U.S. is the largest consumer market in the world, anyone who decides to stop shipping anything to us has the business acumen of an idiot (or a Democrat).
